Is it really free to start?

Why not just practise with ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is great for vocabulary and grammar, but it does not reliably hear and correct your tones, and it will never make you show up. A live small class gives you a trained ear catching the exact contour you produced, and a cohort that keeps you going — the two things free AI cannot give you.
Is this only about tones, or full Chinese?
Tones are where we start, because they are the wall most learners never get over. But the course takes you all the way to HSK4 — speaking, listening, reading, and typing characters. Tones are the wedge; fluency to HSK4 is the destination.
